As a result of COVID-19, people are working from home and work productivity has diminished. There are many challenges for workers who are working from their home offices during Covid Pandemic. For instance, it has been observed by Fryer (2020) and Gorlick (2020) that working from home is not appropriate for everyone because it can produce isolation for workers. Moreover, according to Fryer (2020), employees feel disconnected from each other due to home working. In addition, Bloom (2020, cited in Gorlick, 2020) mentions that physical appearance makes collaborative work more effective rather than working from home. The security risk for information data is increased and Fryer (2020) explains that all jobs are not suitable for home-working. Also, collaboration on phone calls is the significant challenge to develop new ideas. Bloom (2020) found that working from home is a considerable challenge for parents and children because of interruptions and distractions. Furthermore, it has been indicated that a separate office would be beneficial when working from home (Bloom, 2020). Additionally, he highlights that many parents had to teach their children at home. In conclusion, Fryer (2020) and Gorlick (2020) agree that working from home not only decreases productivity, it becomes the root cause of mental health issues, such as anxiety and depression.
